I have just realised that this project is targeting linux distributions only. Some errors have detailed explanations: E0308, E0433, E0599.įor more information about an error, try `rustc -explain E0308`. = note: the following trait is implemented but not in scope perhaps add a `use` for it:Įrror: no method named `st_mode` found for struct `Metadata` in the current scope = help: items from traits can only be used if the trait is in scope > /Users/luiscruz/.cargo/registry/src/-1ecc6299db9ec823/procfs-0.8.1/src/process/mod.rs:62:14Ħ2 | use std::os::linux::fs::MetadataExt Įrror: no method named `st_uid` found for struct `Metadata` in the current scope They'll then be able to offer you what is within their scope of support.Error: failed to resolve: could not find `linux` in `os` Secondly, if you're not satisfied with the response from the Mac Genius then call up the Apple online store (800-MY-APPLE), give them your web order # and say you're not satisfied with the product and you'd like to either get a new battery or exchange the machine.

On my new 13" MacBook Pro and 15" MacBook Pro, throughout the first 10 weeks of ownership my "health" dipped as low as 92% to as high as 100%.

The first several weeks and months, the full charge capacity and battery health will bounce around.

Recently I even came across a machine that brand new had 10 charge cycles right out of the box (2.16GHz MacBook Air).

I've purchased well over 500 portable computers from Apple over the years and I've seen batteries from brand new (not refurbished) come with anywhere from 1 to as many as 5 cycles. You also more than likely didn't get someone's used battery. I've got well over that before and I've gotten less than half that as well.Ī refurbished computer, by Apple, is not considered "used" so I'm unsure where you read that on Apple's site. You'll fine users will get varying results, based on usage. the battery is capable of getting *UP TO* 7 hours off a full charge. The "threshold" you speak of is anything but. Out of curiosity, what is the FCC of your battery? What was it when you received it? If you browse this forum, you'll find that a new thread, addressing this exact issue (less than 3 month old machine, battery health between 92-95%) is asked about once day, 7 days a week. Ironically, iStat Pro says my health is 99% and Coconut say it's at 98%. Which means that technically my battery health is only 96%.

My MBP is also about six weeks old and it's current full charge capacity is 5359 mAh. Nor are they way to attract the support of AppleCare to warrant a replacement. IStat Pro and Coconut Battery are two battery monitoring applications that are not approved by Apple by means of accurately reporting battery information.
